Does anyone know why in Quark 7.0 if you use a photoshop clipping path on any piece of artwork it makes the program run REALLY slow. Like you get the spinny wheel every time you try to move the artwork or anything. I know you can make clipping paths in Quark, but it doesn't work for every piece of artwork. Is there anyway around this?

How many points are in your clipping path?
I've gotten clipping paths created in Photoshop that have maxed out Illustrator

I guess I don't really know...probably the artwork has a lot of points, but this was never a problem before in Quark 5 or 6
