Please send your finished pieces to me at gdfcalendar@gmail.com.

If it's over 10MB, use yousendit.com.

Thanks everyone!

- Buda

P.S. It would be super helpful if you call your file "week46" or whatever other week you are.

Did I screw up on the dates layout on this one, Buda?

http://mediamainline.com/client/gdf/may4-10-2008.jpg

(full resolution: http://mediamainline.com/client/gdf/may4-10-2008.tif )

I did this as a pencil drawing, and wasn't thinking... Does it have to be changed somehow to incorporate all the dates on the right?

You didn't exactly follow instructions there Ned. But if you don't have time to change it, no biggie. I'm sure people will be able to find the dates if they're not in the normal spot for 1 page.

Does this include bleed? It doesn't look like it to me. Can you forward a copy with bleed to me? Thanks!

The full-res tiff file (second link) has bleed... Used the Photoshop template... (Oh yeah, it might be worth mentioning that the PS template was the wrong resolution... I'm sure anyone who used it was able to figure it out, but it was 72dpi instead of 300dpi).
It should also be worth mentioning that I never was good at following directions. ;)

*EDIT: I'm sending you an FTP link by email...

Oops, you're totally right. I can't save the tif for some strange reason. Normally I can just drag a pic onto my desktop. Why? Can you send the tif to me?

Sorry...what a pain I am...

I think I posted that I sized the template at 72 dpi for faster downloading, but that it would need to be upsampled to 300 dpi for the actual layout. Sorry if I wasn't clear. :o

No problem, Urst. You did a great job in putting it together, and changing the resolution is no difficult problem. Saved us a tonne of mistakes and work. Especially with guys like me who can't read directions. ;)
I actually thought I would be using the Illy template, until it actually came time to do it.

Buda: FTP link should be in your email now...

Yeah, opening a tif by browser can be a difficult thing. I tried it myself, and it opened it in Quicktime (using Firefox). I'm sure I wouldn't have been able to save it that way, either.

No firm deadline ... but I'm thinking by the end of April - beginning of May so there is time to print, advertise and distribute in time for the holidays.

OK, kids in a couple of days I will be posting up a list for all the weeks that are to be recirculated. The deadline for these new weeks will be 26 May. No exceptions!

Those with late notes have been granted extensions, but a whole lot of people I haven't heard a peep out of, so unfortunately, I'm going to take it as a sign they are no longer interested.

If your week gets reallocated and you have simply been away, maybe you can take a week that is still available or talk nicely to the person that has your week.

Goodness this is exciting. I was really getting worried for a minute, but there are only 7 weeks that may be going back into circulation. I will post these tomorrow.

I think we will be ok.

I got a burst of inspiration, and just posted mine in the Showcase. :) I was having a hard time settling on an idea I liked, but I'm good with what I came up with. Sometimes it just takes me awhile to find the sweet spot with this kind of stuff. Especially because there are so many great designs being submitted.
