Hey, your website looks good, I really like a lot of your past work, mainly your art and design projects. The only thing I would suggest is to maybe incorporate your grouped gold logos at the bottom into the navigation of the site; the foward button wasn't so visible at first. Overall all it looks grand. Maybe some flash?

Just piping in with a typo alert. You wrote stationary instead of stationery. The former means immobile, so I think you mean the latter ;)

another typo: http://www.therodesign.fi/td/design/design_partioretki/partioretki4.html ' The cards were tight up together with a string, that smells like tar. ' should be TIED up with string.
I like the site alot, my only complaint, and this is minor.... On the home page: http://www.therodesign.fi/td/thero/thero.html that red is so bright and intrusive, that I was trying to read your text, and I just kept getting a red glare to the left because that image is so bright, either lighten up the red, or change the color to a milder tone, its to dominant right now.
Other then that, looks great, I really like the site and your work.

more spelling mistakes... STOP READING... no, thanks for that. Where my brain was, when I wrote that? Have anyone seen it?
D-Frag, you might be right with that red bright image. It is bright, but I won't change it. I might consider changing the image to another one, but that image is just right. It might be in a wrong place...

Thero, love your stite, just love it, felt good visiting it! Also, love your pieces 'Wrong Group' and 'Why'. I can totally relate to an feel both....first because I have spent a lifetime searching for 'my tribe' and second, I have had up close and personal reality with racism (I have two mixed children). They really moved me and I think you are a talented and sensitive artist.
I will probably always be just and illustrator, by you are an artist. And international, also1 lucky you! I lived in france and hitchhiked through Europe several times and am trying to figure out a way to retire in Paris!
Good luck to you...
Peace

jealous? I visited your website. You got no reason to be jealous. In fact, you got no rights to be jealous. I think you work was good. And you are still a young man...

Thero, I just posted about 33 of my 'illustrations' on another site, go look at them and tell me what you think: www.graphics.com - gallery - Illustrator (3 page) then Patricia Adams (I have two pages.)
Kudos to you and your wife..where do you all live, Denmark? Blond and blue-eyed? I love that you are adopting children in great need of it and I wish you and your wife years of love and pleasure! And personally, at this time and age, I believe spanish are the most beautiful people on the planet, with any mixed children second most beautiful. Just think, one day you will have gorgeous mixed grandchildren! Ironically, even though my children are mixed black, they don't look it in any way. They exactly look spanish and everyone always thinks they are Hispanic!
Do you make a living from your art?
Kudos again,
Peace

Patricia,
Do I make my living from art? No. I am a graphic designer, I do my living from graphic design. Art is something I do, when ever I have time. But I don't have time enough... I'm trying to start to work with photos more and more. I'm starting a book project soon, doing my own art photo book. I start to work on the photos this summer and the book will be published probably late this year.
I live in Lahti, Finland. A small city about 100 km north from Helsinki.
I took a look at your illustrations. I was impressed. Especially the illustrations of cars were great. Really sharp and realistic work. I must take a long time to do that kind of illustration. What program you use and how do you work? Do you make your living with your illustrations?

No, no living, although I am working on that. That is my plan....I work at graphics, like you!
I draw all the pictures with a mouse, in Illustrator. Actually, I have just found a new program that I am going to learn -- Xara X--check out their website gallery: www.xara.com --because they seem to be able to do blends and transparencies much easier that Illustrator. I want my art to look like airbrushing...which the cars do, but they took almost two weeks to do and are huge, huge files. Apparently Xara X is much simpler.
I just moved here (Jacksonville, Florida) from South Florida, Lake Worth, actually. They have a very large Finnish community there! And many of the house have little buildt in sauna's because of the Finnish influence. Do you have pictures of your city? You could email them to me, if you wanted...I would love to see the country side where you live. I am a real Europephile and Miss it like crazy...I have never been so far north, however.
Peace

Oh, you're in Florida. Yes, there is a lot of Finns over there. In fact, I have cousins living in West Palm Beach and Lake Worth. I visited Florida three times, althou I never did a trip only to Florida. How did you end up living in there? I think Florida was ok, but I would never move there (don't tell that to my cousins...). I think it's too flat...
I don't have any pictures at the moment of my so called home town. Maybe later...
