Hi everyone (first post),

I run a chain of small English schools in Japan (5 small schools in Northern Kyoto prefecture) and need a 'fresh look' logo for a new online resource page we are developing.

I'm happy to pay for a great design and want to discuss a contract to design banners, menus, stationery and signage with a suitably talented person.

I'm willing to pay a fair price (but the fact that I'm here looking for an up and coming designer should warn you that we're not that rich...)

I'm not going to be insulting by trying to give an impression that cheap work now will lead to BIG$$ contracts, but I rather hope it will...

I have a solid base here to build from and recently partnered with a very talented young Flash programmer (he's a good teacher too) and have something a bit different - but rooted firmly in reality and with an existing customer base - we intend to do.

We've chosen a Flash template to use as our portal (we both teach a lot and have no time to recreate the wheel). I've linked to it here --> http://www.flash-template-design.com/preview.php?tid=1676

The attached image is the sign as it appears outside our main school and is very similar to the logo currently used in our advertising. It was designed for us four years ago by a local - Western Japan - advertising guy (whom I was incapable of communicating with at the time).

The Japanese and English characters "Best 英会話” are our company name and the logo should be designed around these.

The final two characters '教室' should be dropped the yellow lettering at the top is also additional info and isn't necessary.
