I am having trouble finding this font... Any help would be appreciated. I need to buy this for a client.

The Q is interesting and the "O" has a dot in the middle....
I am usually pretty good at font finding, but I am stumped.
Thanks!

have you tried uploading it to www.whatthefont.com ? You may need to make the sample smaller or crop it a bit to get an effective result.

Another site that might be helpful is www.identifont.com - but check back here because there are definitely some folks around the board who are better at font identification than I am. Good luck!

Can we just create a Whatthefont.com sticky? Title it like "Can't Identify A Font? Find It Here" or something? This topic is coming up multiple times per week.

there is one, in typography... but sometimes people don't think to look there.
There's no harm in asking, and sometimes whatthefont isn't any help anyway. ;)

I wouldn't rely on the dot in the middle of the 'O' to identify the font, it may not be part of it. It was probably added as part of the logo. Ignore this if you've seen this font else where with the dot....

I'd ignore the dot too, the O in Fashion has no dot.

I didn't even notice that. Shows you how strong my observation skill are! :o

Whatthefont.com tried really really hard, but no luck...
I'll just get close and hope the client can track down who did it originally (always fun).
Thanks for the help, it is appreciated!

It looks like a modified Tranquility Roman.

PrintDriver,
Thanks, it does look like that quite a bit.
This may be a mixture of fonts or a modified font. The only thing the client really likes is the "&" sign. I can always just re-create that in illustrator and pop it in...
Thanks for all the help...

The & looks like Shelley Script Allegro. (http://www.identifont.com/list?3+Bickham%20Script+1+GC+7+VP+4+36G+4+260+4+JI K+2+VV+2+TH+2+2GN+2+24N+2+2TM+2+7BP+2+4I9+2+3YL+2+ 262+2+7BJ+2+68A+2+GH1+2+638+2+4IE+2+4IA+2+F46+2+F4 5+2+F47+2+6EM+2+62S+2+61C+2+5SW+2+88V+2+9O8+2+G4L+ 2)

My best guess ... Adobe Garamond with a modified Q and O

The "&" is the Shelley Script Allegro, thanks Buda.
Kat, you are on the right track, I think it is a combination of a couple fonts and several elements.
I do have to say, whoever did this art originally did a good job, and created "original" art from different elements. It is nice to find logos that you can't name the font... It means the designed did a good job and provided originality and solid design to the client.

I agree. The orginal designer knows enough about fonts to pull good elements out of several different fonts. Not all designers can do that well.
