Thats probably not an auto shape, looks like it was custom made using Illustrator and the reflect tool.
Oh, and its called "graphic" design, not to be confused with interior design.
Really, I don't think its part of any particular style or movement. If I had to coin a term for it, I'd call it Extemporaneous Latinolithic.

I was thinking they had something to do with greek designs! well i Know some one who is a good artist can design those shapes but am interested in finding autoshapes of such designs, so I need a name to search with

You keep saying autoshapes? Which is what PowerPoint uses. In a very broad sense, those shapes are essentially flourishes.

looking for shortcuts, methinks.
well, you can search for photoshop brushes that do those shapes, as well as illustrator vector art templates.
if you're looking to do this in powerpoint, or if that's the software you're using, you may be on the wrong forum.
no offense meant.

Excellent ... now if you have nothing constructive to say .... don't say it. Bashing someones design abilities is always bad form. A constructive critique is fine... however from what I see a question was asked, nothing was asked to be critiqued.

Telling someone they can design that themself IS constructive. I did not bash...I said it could be done easily in less than 30 minutes. Nor did I critique. Please read entire thread.

Place that photo in Illustrator...fade it back so it is barely visable...put another layer on top...zoom in real close and trace the lines. When finished, delete the photo layer and save the tracing. Ta Da....

yes, Ta da, copyright infringment. nice.
Sheeze what a dumb thread to have arguments in. Bama, I can see what you were saying and I can also see how it could be interpreted as harsh. Plain words on a screen can often be misconstrued. Lets just agree you meant it constructively and move on. You don't want to be in an argument on your first day. :)

WRONG!!!!!!
Copyright infringment is when the logo is used without permission. Using an element is not. In fact, if you modify a logo or other copyright image by 20%, it is no longer considered the original image.

Wrong! That is a Myth Bama.
From US Copyright laws:
Modifying or altering an image is infringing upon the copyright owner's rights unless expressed permission is granted.

Man, sorry Kool. I'm having trouble keeping the PMT monster in it's cage today. Having "Wrong" shouted at me with six exclamation marks doesn't inspire me to put my Ghandi hat on either. I think maybe I should leave this thread in case I flip out like a ninja and wail on my guitar.

LOL, No worries, I was just trying to put out an ember before it burst into a fire. The the 20% change comment pretty well sunk that plan. Oh well, I guess if you say something dumb you have to listen to the consequences. ;)

how care if your not planning to use it commercial then copyright does not applay any ways
Copyright is copyright. If you aren't using it commercially it is still copyright, it just means that no one will see it you won't get caught.

Go to somewhere like Istock and search for "flourishes" or "ornaments" and then pay for the ones you want to use. Or better yet have a creative surge and have a go at drawing some of your own.

search for Dover Electronic Clip Art on amazon.com.... they have them from $10 and up... only down fall, they are all raster images that will have to be vectorized if you need them in vector...

THe best is to take a look at many examples and then sketch it and scan it and vector it to make your own. BUt you can buy them too. Hard to find free ones.
good luck with it. Hopefully I can show you some I did next month when the project goes live. Maybe I will post a little bit of the piece here.
PS. another thing is the second one looks like a Victorian Ornament

We have one of these (blue book) that has a bunch of those images in it.
http://www.vectorart.com/
Else you can check out your local Barnes & Noble for the clip art section - just a note that the CD's are low res non-vector eps files. If you have Illustrator you can just live trace them with fair results.
If you do a google search for "vector clip art" there's tons of resources to sift through.
Else as people have said you can create your own, and I did a tutorial here.

I would design them from scratch, however, you could do a search for "printers ornaments" "flourishes" "filigree"

There are lots of fonts out there that have this type of ornamental style.
Personally, I use Adobe Wood Type Ornaments.
The way I see it, if it's already been done, why do it yourself? People are always posting fonts for people too figure out, no one ever tells them to recreate it (well, some do, but most will try to find the font face). The same should be said about Ornament fonts.

yipes!
on the note of the 20% or whatever changes made to something,
my instructors in college told us 'as long as it's changed 30% you're good!'
that's pretty annoying!
i never could figure out HOW that could still be okay...
too much gray in da' law i guess.....
