In fact sometimes I have to calculate how old I am, im so used to lying about it now that it becomes 2nd nature.

Lots of things like:

When scientists predict some horrible climatic disaster in 40-50 years you can say "who cares I'll be dead"

Less hair to comb.

Not giving a rats ass about what clothes are in style.

Learning not to sweat the small stuff.



Of course there are some disadvantages too like:

Having all of the abuse that you subjected your body to when you were in your 20s catch up to you.

Knowing that there's a pretty good chance that you have less life ahead of you than behind you.

Prostrate exams.

Watching all of the muscles that used to be in yor chest and arms slide down to your stomach and somehow turn to fat along the way.<img border="0" src= "smileys/smiley16.gif">

I guess I'm the grand-dad of the bunch, you're all a bunch of kids. I'm 54 but have been told I look closer to 41. Genetics on my dad's side. He never looked his age. I act younger than a lot of people my age as well. Always preferred the company of younger people. I think I stopped growing at 27. That was my best year. Oh gawd, I'm rambling again...

Hi Defjoe, yeah it sucked. I got a "combined" christmas/birthday deal and i hated it. Everyone else got the presents twice a year i got half once a year. Now I tell people hot to give me anything for Christmas or Birthday, if they feel the need i tell them to make a donation to their church or favorite charity in my name. ;-) I already have more that I could ever need, why waste and have more stuff laying around unused. I give a lot of stuff each year to Habitat for Humanity and our church, a lot oif it new never worn (good stuff too) clothing and the likes. I dislike wastage...
