I've just completed a two-year degree and wanted to get my work on the web prior to moving on to my next school. Check it out and let me know what you think.

Wow, that was amazing. It's also odd because I know where HACC is, relatively speaking. I think it would be great to look at some before and after pictures just to see how far school really got you, just for the fun of things.

That out of the way, the site is nice and clean. I know how...frustrating flash can be. With that said, two things I wish for is faster loading, maybe find a way to divi it up between the four chapters. The second, what if you could incorporate something to do with the bomb in your logo. Like, just let me click on it and make everything blow up just for the fun of it.

Again great work.

I like it. The only thing I wasn't a fan of was the titles attached to each of the images telling what that piece is. I would like it a little better if they were all in the same place, relative to the image, instead of having some of them turned on their side. I think that would help add a little consistency. But that's just my opinion.

Great work and great site.

Thanks! Yeah HACC is our little-know sercet that has one of the toughest programs I've been around. Only downset is the community college rep that comes attached :( More bang for the buck if you ask me though! Loading on this thing is completely dynamic, yet I wanted to keep my resume at 300dpi which I believe is the reason for the semi-long load. As far as the bomb is concerned... I'm still working on a cheesy video game that will be linked to it...woops, spilled the beans :) thanks for the input!

thanks as well... I"m still not happy with some of the sizes and text associated with the pieces. I'm still in the process of finding a better(larger) way to get there. This was a happy medium to work with the number of images in a time efficient manner... look it up again in due time... thanks!

I love this site! My only criticism is super-small: You misspelled "Pennsylvania" in a couple of places.

Really nice work and nice site! I also noticed some misspellings on some of the captions. In the illustration section, concept looks like it has an r in it. In the printmaking section, variant is spelled with an e (varient), which is incorrect.

Also, the wine bottle labels are very cool, but the back of the label has villain spelled incorrectly, and there's an out of place comma before the description of the dog.

I really like your site and how open and clean it is. Makes me wish I knew more about Flash.

I'm running Mac OS X, 10.4.8. In Firefox (v2.0.03) and Camino (v1.0) I'm getting a few garbage characters on the left side. I'm attaching a screen shot.

It would be nice, if the buttons for the portfolio section indicated which piece is currently being viewed. Just as a little bookmark, not that it's all that easy to lose your place, but it might be a nice touch.

One more minor critique, you're missing the accent-e-gue (one of the few things I remember from my high school French. :) ) on the resumé button. The first time I saw it, I really did think it was a resume button, perhaps tied to some sort of start/stop feature in the animation.

In photography there's several pictures that look llike your collage buds messing around. This may not be the best images to present to clients on a professional level. Same with the 'humping zebra crossing' - funny pic - but maybe not so much for pro clients.

Also in your art work there is a Time Magazine cover. Either dub it as a school project / concept or I would recommend removing it entirely. I don't think Time would be to happy if you were promoting yourself as published on a cover.

Same with Bad Religion. Using trademarked names without permission - even in mockups is opening the doors to legal issues. What is used in the classroom is generally overlooked, but once presented as a business legal peeps take notice. Keep the designs, but change the titles to something made up.

otherwise- everyone else pointed out the rest.

Good site.

On photography it's one thing, but I think branding (as in the cow-burn, not the marketing term!) your logo and design work with "sandbox imagination 2007" is uneccessary.

Besides - they're on solid colors and white space...a novice photoshop user could take care of the marks in a second. They're detracting from the work, particularly when they look distorted.
