some how i moved the back panel/ingredient list on a product 2" to the left of the center guide line... so now the product has 1/3 of the back panel on the side of the bottle... looks really bad...

Oh that sucks. Although I admire you're being accountable for it. Nothing irks me more than someone that makes a mistake and can't own up to it. I have a feeling you've had very few mess ups in the past.

Look on the bright side, at least you didn't put the wrong ingredients on it.
And the Manticore didn't rip you to shreds with his razor sharp talons.

heh, now I don't feel so bad that I forgot to add an "s" to an email on a set of biz cards.
I hope your weekend is still going to be good.

Oh, man...you have my sympathy. We've all been there and I bet you won't do it twice. I hope they weren't too hard on you at the office.

Ouch. Most of us have either been there, or through some oversight, could have it happen at any time, despite our best efforts. I feel for ya, I really do. I work in over the counter pharmaceutical packaging, so if a mistake isn't caught before the product goes into the packaging, both the packaging AND the product need to be destroyed, which means big $$$. It's a scary business to be in sometimes.

I think it is really important how companies deal with mistakes. At mine, it seems if you front up to the boss and apologise and be honest about what went wrong, the attitude is "shit happens, let's move on". If you put the blame on others, it can get real nasty.
