I was just thinking about this campaign I did in school for Close-Up toothpaste and to this day it still makes me laugh out loud. Can you imagine a toothpaste company actually using this? Would I get laughed out of the boardroom or what?
These are in my portfolio so some of you may have seen them before. What do you all think?

Fabulous.
Closeup have been quite creative with their product too...Choco flavours and such. I kinda think a choco flavour tooth paste is wack!

At first I was like, hmm, ketchup.
Then I saw the toothpaste and I was like What? No! Blech, No! Really? Eww, I can't wait to see the next one.
Great job! My only suggestions involve colors. Darken up the red on the toothpaste to mirror your top and bottom borders, try to get your plates to match values, and maybe turn the green bristles on the brush to yellow, like the plates.
I think it's really clever ... but I think swallowing toothpaste is actually harmful to you. That being said I doubt any toothpaste company would greenlight it because of the possible legal ramifications.

Since it's a school project I think your fine.
Besides, the tube already says something to the affect of "If you ingest more than necessary for brushing, see your doctor immediately."

Thanks for the comments everyone. MD has the buzzkill and is correct. Would a 6 point type line appease the lawyers? Probably not.
It still makes me laugh though.

Actually.. Those ads would work if they were for an all natural flouride free toothpaste, and you made that one of the main points of it.... oh gold baby, thats gold!!!!! REDO!!! SEND TO TOMS OF MAINE HIPPY TOOTHPASTE!!!!
Heh heh, it's good you can laugh at your work when you just started, I look at some of the crap I did in my first design class and I just want to shoot myself, lol.
