I am a HUGE fan of the work that Bill Moyers does. This link (http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/05252007/profile.html) is an interview he recently did with Maxine Hong Kingston, about a book she recently wrote/compiled, called Veterans of War, Veterans of Peace.
The focus is on a writing workshop she organized where veterans of past wars (including World War II, the Vietnam war, the Gulf war, and Iraq) wrote about their experiences, in poem and story form.
It's extremely moving to hear the words these people put down on paper, and she reads their words very well. I'd highly recommend it.

Huge fan of Moyers and his show on PBS. PBS in general is finally getting back to real journalism.
Two more links to enjoy.

Oooh, that one, that's a good one. I seriously am a Bill Moyers stalker, I think, whenever I see that he's doing something, I'm all over it! :D

Yup, I love Frontline, I always have. Zendada, get out of my brain! :D
This episode of the journal (http://www.pbs.org/moyers/journal/05182007/watch2.html) was really good too, IMO. :)

I am floored. I missed this one. Really, REALLY, good. Candid talk.
PS. I still support Obama 08 though.

Me too. You know he's got everything on line at his site now, or at least pretty much everything? I mean Bill Moyers. :D

Just watched the Jon Stewart Interview. I love that guy. I already knew he was a really intelligent person who is spot on with his commentary, but wow, he just impresses me even more every time. You gotta love his honesty, intelligence and humor, there really arent many people quite like him out there that are not only being honest with their commentary, but hilarious too.
Thank god PBS had the transcripts for that so I could hear every word. Thanks For posting Zendada, and thanks for starting the thread Urst.

Yes, thanks for the links! Great stuff. I love Bill Moyers, too. I first heard of him many moons ago through my love of Joseph Campbell.

Yes, that series is a good one, not online to the best of my knowledge, but I've been tossing around the idea of buying it on DVD.
