I've got a job

Can't believe it I've got a job, really without trying.:eek:
Sent by the agency I temp for (admin stuff) as I happen to be a designer too and help was needed to clear a back log of stuff and finish off designs and do loads of amendments and I've just started my own project. I was trusted to go out and make the first contact with a prospective client who is coming into the studio next week for a consultation after my visit. I am a right hand man now—oh sorry woman.
I've been kept as a permanent freelancer and I can at the same time keep my own business going.

The studio is in converted stables overlooking the valley towards the north cornish coast and 1/2 a mile from the sea. I am truly blessed.

Gosh it was scary first day. I was so slow, thought I'd blown it. Although I learnt with Quark Xpress I have been using Indesign for 18months. Trying to remember I was using Quark and where all my fingers should go etc was a nightmare. Managed to speed up again though. When I pointed out that he didn't know any Indesign and how would he manage if he had to use it and that he would be even slower than me—fortunately for me he accpeted my point.
