Okay, I tried to see if there was an all encompassing collection of our portfolio sites, and could not find one. I thought it'd be cool if everyone would add their main portfolio site to this thread, and if any moderators felt like it they could make this a sticky... :)
mine is under construction but it can always be found at:

okay, now you all add yours.

Mine is in my sig. But yeah, super outdated. Someday I will redo it.
Anyone seen the first few minutes of Stranger than Fiction? I think I might borrow that idea of lines being drawn in to emphasize something and then tumbling away. I really liked that.
Someday, anyway.

Yeah! and that movie is awesome too. I was reading an article in a designer magazine (actually bought it, and it's home, but can't rememer the name right now) and they were interviewing the designers that did the introduction for it. Really good article.
They also had an interview with the designers that did the Geico Cavemand commercials!!!!
Dude, I keep hearing about the sitcom coming out for it, I'm so freakin stoked!!! can't wait.

this is a great thread. nothing for me as of yet, redoing my website after some hiatus and starting a new identity to boot for my freelance.
all i have now is a basic contact info page that can be found via my nickname/handle but it is really just like my business card and nothing else right now. I have a design set for the site but am going through portfolio work now to place on it (don't want to over crowd the pages) and need to work on a logo for the person who will handle my website coding and CSS.
would like to show when finished though (or at least have something there).

I have a link in my sig to a web portfolio template kind of thing. The guys who designed the site offered a few members here free membership if they posted their stuff and critiqued the setup. Hasn't been updated in a while, but one day I do plan on getting my own site that I designed from scratch up and running. I wouldn't suggest holding your breath on that though, might take a while... :D

My site needs some modifications and to be honest I’m kind of tired of the design. It’s over a year old now. But I’m going to concentrate on updating the functionality of it. And against my desires I’ll be adding some flash to it as people assume you don’t know flash if you don’t have it in your portfolio. And I’ll probably run the updated version of Wordpress.

Carolyn: I really enjoy the whole 'shapes with pattern fills' thing you have going on like on the dress, where the site is almost like a big paper doll sort of deal. I've always wanted to experiment with that.
Thanks for the link, Jeff. I'll keep it handy for inspiration. The book designer for a novel I just picked up used ITC Willow for the title, and I was immediately reminded of your Wordwright logo.

Hey all you yet to be posted portfolio peeps. I've been (and so have others) going in and putting the links in on the first post so that everything's all together.
What would help make things easier is if you could put your screenname directly before your link so that when I go to copy and paste I can just grab the whole thing at once. Rather than trying to remember some of you with possibly hard to spell/remember names, etc.
So it'd be urstwile: <your link here> kinda thing.
Thanks in advance! I'm really glad this thread exists, there's some great stuff to see in the first post. :)

Hmm... I did offer the link in my sig as a porfolio/website sort of deal, but I don't see it in the first-post link...
Though I genereally like the pieces in there, it's not the best representation of what I've done... I do have my own site in the works, hopefully I'll get it up and running in the (somewhat) near future. It will be in the showcase at some point, and I can already anticipate some of the critiques... especially since I'm a Flash novice...

I think your portfolio is pretty good. But I think you have dominated a style which is polluting some of the greater peices from the less best works. Go more minimal and compensate aweay from dominating massive areas with flat colour. bring in textures aswell. if you experiment no doubt something great will come up camarota
