I am looking for a program that can make game design maps, ie. maps of areas for online play.
I need one that can handle a large number of tiles, allowing them to be created then laid out to create the maps. I hve been hunting on the web for a long time to try to find a good map builder program, but none seem to exist. I need one to do the graphic designs.
These are not small scale maps either. It has to be able to handle thousands of tiles and laying them once the tiles are made.
If anyone has any recommendations, please let me know. I am not going to post my company information here since I do not want my game designs pirated.
