So I recently upgraded to CS3, and am enjoying it immensely. There is one issue I am having. I have a background image I am using for a website. Now, what I normally do (with CS2), was when the background image is complete, I sample its background color and find out the value. Then I "save for web" as a jpg. Then, I go into notepad (or dreamweaver) and set my background color to that same value. I have never had a problem with it, but recently, when I previewed my page, the background color of the image was a few shades off of the regular background color, which, needless to say, made the image stand out.
So I went into Photoshop CS2, opened up the image and did a "Save for Web", and the color shifted back to the right one.
Based on this, I assumed that it was happening in the "Save for Web" dialog box. both programs are using the same Color Space settings, so I'm not sure why this is happening. Does anyone have any ideas that could help? Thanks in advance!
