finding the complement color

How can i locate the complement color of a speciific color? Can somone give me a hint n tip?

It depends on the color wheel but Complimentary colors in basic color theory are 2 colors on opposite sides of the color wheel (red/green or yellow/violet for example). I guess the OP needs to specify. :D
