well i found out what my problem was....I got hacked...hacked bad actually. Seems they hijacked my internet connection, I cant ipconfig, so it looks like i will be re-installing XP AGAIN, foooooooooook, thats like twice in 2 years, thats pancakeing stupid, god i hate hackers......

ive got a dlink router firewall, and a xp firewall, only problem is i havent had either one turned on for months cuz my isp was crapty as it was and my gaming was lacking......im clueless what is going on now, the whole no ipconfig is f'n with my head.

D-frag what do you use for a browser and email? If you dont use mozilla or firefox browsers and Thunderbird for email, I highly recommend it. Since I have used those on my XP machine, I have not gotten 1 piece of spyware or viruses since i switched 9 months ago.

I use mozilla, i got it all worked out for the most part now, it only took about 5 hours. I had a trojan and a bunch of script that had gotten changed, i got zonealarm, spybot s&d, and adaware, and norton with my firewall, so im pretty protected right now, zonealarm has already caught like 10 attempts to hack my ports since i installed it, cool crap!

If I were on PC I'd use nothing but the Mozilla stuff. Your ISP should provide some kind of firewall built into the modem also.
