Mid-sized publishing company based in Los Angeles, California is seeking a full-time, in-house professional web developer with a genuine interest and passion for developing web applications and interactive features.
Duties:
· Design, develop, test, debug and maintain dynamic and secure web sites and web-based applications in ASP.NET 2.0 (C#)
· Build relational databases for the given projects in MS SQL 2005
· Contribute heavily to the strategic planning and development of the websites, applications, and other web-based initiatives
· Provide technical assistance and training to associates
· Write specifications and documentation for the applications built
· Stay up-to-date on latest technology trends and recommend them as needed
· Perform all other duties as assigned by manager
Qualifications:
· 3+ years of full-time professional web development experience (ASP.NET)
· Genuine interest & passion for web application development
· Strong knowledge of ASP.NET 2.0 in C# - in Visual Studio environment
· Strong knowledge of MS SQL Server 2000/2005 and the SQL Reporting Services
· Strong knowledge of CSS, (X)HTML, and JavaScript
· Strong knowledge of SEO, and the ways to implement it effectively in ASP.NET 2.0
· Working knowledge in Photoshop & Flash
· Knowledge of Cold Fusion MX a huge plus
· Relevant degree, training, or coursework preferred
· Must be able to work in a team and individually effectively
