more specifically, a double sweet sixteen that is set outdoors in a garden. Colors specified were lime green, hot pink and orange. Both girls will have thier own items in thier orange/pink with green highlights. Here is what I came up with for the main art... the rest to follow inthe next week or so.

whadya think?

(i just noticed a few letters that have the outline/shadow layers out of order... must go fix)

I like it. As long as you are not supporting one of those Mtv style sweet sixteens. Dang I hate that show.

I think it's sexy hot stuff. The text in the banner feels a little uncomfortable, but they're 16. They're not going to care about it. Overall, it's lovely.

If only I were 16 again. Oh no wait, being a teenager was horrible...

When me and my friend turned 17 we all got dressed up as fairies, climbed trees, blew bubbles, ate fun food and smoked lots of pot. Good times :D

Very nice! I hope Becca and Cassie appreciate it.

Looks really good, except for the green outer glow on Becca. I think it competes with all of those great-looking crisp vectors.
I would try lightening it, or making it directional.

ok, here it is with the cleaned up changes. I tried getting rid of the glow but it really doesn't pop out without it

i realize those were the colors given to you, but the orange & pink against that green background is hurting my eyes. perhaps a thin black outline around the type would help. also, id like to see some of that foliage come in front of the type; some slight interaction to bring everything together.

I like it, and very trendy and perfect style for 16 yr olds that would throw a sweet 16 party like this. Only thing I'd change is make the color of the banner that says "sweet 16" a different color, maybe a light pink or something to contrast more with the green leaves of the background.

The pink especially is doing a number on my eyes. Perhaps you can change it to a lighter pink and orange. Or make them faded.

I agree that you should try changing the banner color... maybe a fade from pink to orange. And I also agree that you should pull some of the foliage infront of the type and the banner, so it looks more cohesive and no like it was just stuck on top.

Please keep posting the updates!
