unfinnished, posterdesign for alternative event

This is a poster-design for a alternative festival here in Norway. This is probably not a "correct" design, but its supposed to fit the esthetics of the metal-scene. The bottom is for sponsorlogos. I'm not saticfied with the green/white thingie between the two band-collums, but it feels abit too spacy to not have anything there. The only brief I got was that they wanted it to have a green theme.

I don't like the T's in SOUTHERN DISCOMFORT. The last T looks like an R to me. Make them look more T like and you're good.

The date is presented funny. Put spaces where they should be and captitalise the A in August. If your aesthetic is all lowercase letters, then you need to stick with it. Otherwise you need to proofread.

There's nothing that grabs me about this design. You've had a go at giving it some grunge texture but this could be explored a bit further. Make it really dirty, but without making it illegible.

Try some green text to bring out more important points in the copy.

The logo was sent to me like this, i didn't design the Southern Discomfort-logo. But thanks for the feedback, I'll look into it and post an update later :) Thanks to you too amadeupword (love your nick), I'll look into it, my screen is abit difficult when it comes to lightness so I'll probably have to adjust it abit lighter I think.
