Graphic Artist/Webmaster
Job Description:
As the graphic designer/Webmaster you will need to be able to create visually appealing designs for screen-printed apparel, the web and printed materials. The ideal candidate will have prior screen-printing experience and be able to create multiple designs in a fast paced environment on a daily basis. Candidates should be able to work on designs without artistic direction. You will need to be able to create multi page websites and implement e-commerce systems into them while maintaining a high level of visual appeal. From time to time designs for printed materials such a flyers banners and pamphlets will also be needed so an understanding of offset and digital printing standards is paramount.
Requirements:
Strong portfolio with ability to work on a specific project without direction. Working knowledge of Adobe’s creative suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Flash). Experience in color separating for screen-printing. Knowledge of CMYK printing as it is applied in screen-printing. Simulated process/Index printing for screen-printing. Experience with basic HTML and CSS coding. Understanding of web standards and practices.
