Random colour of text input boxes

I have some text input boxes which I have coloured grey in CSS, however a few of them appear yellow in Internet Explorer on PC. They all come out grey on Firefox on Mac.

Any ideas? Thanks

they all come out grey on both IE 6 and IE 7 on the PC for me. You might want to check this:

There are a hundred articles like that - could it be your problem?

The colour change is due to the quickfill or Autofill feature in IE or Google. (can't remember which)

Its nought to worry about.

The boxes that have changed colour have the same id as other forms you have previously filled whilst on the net. IE/Google remembers the id's and the info you have inserted and offers you the chance to Autofill them.

If people have never used the features before, or not installed them the boxes will remain as desinged.
