I'm going to be updating my current portfolio website really soon. I used Yahoo Sitebuilder to build it but, now I was thinking about using iweb. ATT Yahoo is my host. Is this a good choice?

iWeb is but a tool, what matters is how you use it. I used it for my last site, and you can put together a very professional site, if you just use it right.

if your not selling your self as a web designer then go ahead.

Yeah, I don't plan on doing web design. I figured using iweb would be the easiest way to get my point across. :o

Then it should be no problem. Serious, for us print guys iweb is a great shortcut to creating a website.

Um, I'm a print guy, too, but having a website designed with a "site builder" (and this is not difficult to notice, either!), or hosted any place where you have no registered domain or are forced to use their mandatory advertisements, will ensure that you are seen as a joke - whether you do print or web. Or, for that matter, if you have any kind of viable business of any kind!

My suggestion to print designers who know nothing about web design, is usually to either pay a professional to design one, or use a portfolio hosting service (ie, CreativeHotlist, etc.).

I do have a domain name and no ads at all. Sitebuilder is okay but isn't supported by apple. I've started a site in iweb and it looks nice, very simple but nice.
