So I've been playin around with graphic and web design for a year now. I'm designing my first site. I know its not much now, but if i could get some advise and comments. From watching all these designers i learned black themed websites can either be done very right or very wrong. Am I going in the right direction with my first one? What would you change so far? Would you even bother?

The navigation buttons are not aligned with the site name. I feel like they should be a little higher to line up.

i agree with buda -- also, you shoudl play some fille rcontent as well, that has a lot to do with how it'll appear at first glance too.

The whole look and feel works great, but i would change the buttons and 'logo'...something smaller and 'sleeker' maybe...

a subtle faded pattern in the background might look good too...?
