What is the main type of printing you will be doing? Substrate? What size would the typical print run be? These are all things you should ask yourself before spending big dough on a press.

I'l be doing alot of baner work, car wrapping etc...I just want to know which one of these 2 machines is better...i'm not concerned right now about the price of these 2 machines but rather what they can do and what quality they can produce

I'm basing this off of what I have read in the different digital printing magazines we get monthly here at my print shop. Most of the large format digital presses we have here are Scitex (recently bought by HP), Vutek, Blueboard and Nur.
The Roland will print at a higher dpi and at a faster speed to boot. It is also a little larger (54" as opposed to the 48" Mutoh) and prints 6 color. The Mutoh is nice but is smaller, prints at a lower res and only prints 4 color. The Mutoh is a little cheaper, though.
Maybe Print Driver will by later with more info.

Onyx works really well. That's what we use here. It's pretty versatile.
