Does anyone else use this command and the associated 'all pictures in layout' command. When I discovered that Quark could automatically resize all pictures in a document so they were imported at 100% and then relink the document to the new resized pictures I was overjoyed. So many hours would be saved. However, it is so flaky and most times when I try it Quark crashes. I'm using Quark 6.5 on a Mac running OS X 10.3.9. I'm thinking of upgrading to Quark 7 and will certainly do so quicker if this features works better than in 6.5. Does anyone else have problems - or even better had problems that they've managed to solve?

I've never heard of this function before. I've been missing out.

Not sure if I'd use it though, sounds nice but I'm a little OCD about making my programmes do what they were designed for.

Image resizing = PhotoShop
Vector = Illustrator/Freehand
Typography = Quark/InDesign

You're probably right. It's part of the relatively new Quark Vista and is under the 'File' menu. While I appreciate the thought of using dedicated programs for specific tasks the idea of being able to automate 100s of picture resizing moves would be too much to resist. I don't use it but understand InDesign does it too - but probably it works there.

InDesign does it too?

OK I'm just not looking at my programmes anymore. Really must check out the new features section.
