Hi there!!!
I’m not so familiar with Photoshop, and I have lots of images to separate the background from the object for my own school project, so I was wondering if you know any good service website offered only for clipping paths. I know there are some of these out there but I want some recommendations – which one offers good service, reasonable price and easy to apply.
Thanks a lot!!!

Sorry buddy but you may find that 99% of us here do our own clipping paths and don't require such services.
You may get lucky though. Keep them fingers crossed for an answer.

can I hire you to do it? :P

You can put an advert into the Classified section detailing the job.
Don't forget to put your email address on it though, people will contact you offering their services.
If you intend on being a proficient PhotoShop user I'd suggest swatting up on how to use the Paths tool and start practising, it's really not too complicated once you get the knack of it.

uh? why would you want to hire someone to do your shool project?
Isn't the point of school to learn these techniques?

I don't have a problem with him 'outsourcing' the work. :D
Learning to do that is something that should be taught anyway.
On the other hand, a GD who doesn't know photoshop very well should develop this simplest of skills.

If you're in school, then that sounds like a great opportunity to practice a skill you'll need a lot when you graduate. As I remember it, "Junior Designer" was actually technical term for "Dude who gets every damn bit of clearcutting that comes through the office."
One day I'll have junior designers to do my clearcutting for me. One day. Sadly, as the only designer at my place, I get to do my own damn lacky work.

Hey, maybe it's not even a design project y'know? It could be a collage for a history project or something.

funniest thing ive ever heard. believe me, if your cutting corners on clipping paths already because you "dont have time" or "dont want to" you will never succeed in this business.....seriously, if this is a legit post just turn in your books and pantone swatch book now, your denied application.
actually… I did come across one in my travels once and wondered what the world was coming to when a graphic designer needs to hire someone else to isolate part of an image. Then again, design is about problem solving so I quess if your solution is to hire someone else to do something you should be doing then more power to you, lol.

Don't put the kid down for wanting someone else to do his silhoetting. Not all designers are one-man shows. Yes, he should be able to do it himself but I like it when designers think toward outsourcing rather than doing something poorly.

He didn't actually state he was studying Graphic Design either, he could just need some clipped images for a science project for all we know

That's the wonderful thing about the net. You post a topic on a GDF forum where a lot of school people post 'help me' and assumptions are made that he's in a graphics program of some sort.
Gfunk, if you are still around you can also post this (with contact info) in the classifieds section.

Good luck on finding a service Gfunk.
I've not heard of any, but I've not looked either. Your best bet maybe the Classifieds section.
Good luck with your search.

Any service bureau will do it (a place that hi-res scans photos and slides), or even a print vendor will do it if they have the tech time available. Check with a few local printers. If they won't do it, they'll know someone that will.
