At the simplest method, you can use keyframe animation with a little tweening to get the effect. However, flash is not a 3d modeler so you will need to tweak a 2d to look 3d in it.

typically the 3d animations that you see are done with an actual 3d modeling program such as Maya, or 3Ds Max.

If you are not familiar with sequential animation, then this will be nearly impossible for you to achieve good results.

Sequential animation is where an object changes over many key frames. Considering that the standard for live video is 30fps and web at 12-15fps that's a lot of frames to redraw your object.

Can you do it easily - push buttons and whalla! it's done... absolutely not.

Google for "sequential animation" and "flash animation" to get started.

Also let us know what your level of knowlege is with flash to give you a better direction.

Thanx for your replies

Actually I want to make a 2d animation. I don`t want to make a very high profile animation. It must be a primitive one. I have made 2 images a peeled kiwi and a hole kiwi. Just think that the peeled one is on the first layer and the hole one on the second layer. The Animation must like being that the hole one is partly peeled and falls down. I cannot say that i am very very good at flash animations. But I have worked with flash. So i know making simple animations, slideshows, motion tweens.

Actually i want to know how to crop an image in 5 or more images and move them. The cropped functionality musn`t be a rectangle or circle it must be handdrown. I tried to make the images in another software but it does take a
lot time to make them if you think that i have to make more fruits...

So - we'll go for a keyframe animation in flash. It's about the simplest method to do since you only worked with flash and make simple animations.

To get from point A to point B you will need to devise a few inbetween images. This you can do in Photoshop. Basically take the whole kiwi and use the select tool (or create a mask) to "cut" a wedge of the kiwi, this will be your starting point.

Import only that wedge slice into flash.

Match it over the "pealed" kiwi. In however many sections you need. You'll need to manipulate it so that it fits. Make sure that each wedge is on a different layer.

Next make a point a few frames out from your original frame and make a key frame, warp the wedge like you would see the peal drop down only 1/8th of the way. and repeat the frames and manipulation until the peal is down to where you need it.

You may also want to make an "inside of peel" image since there are two colors. And you may need to play with the timeline to determine how fast you want your kiwi peeled.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Now for a different method. Ever hear of still frame animation? Basically get yourself a kiwi, and something for which to hold it upright. Then take a photo, peal a little, and take a photo. Now remember that there are 30 frames per second for live video and 15 frames per second for web. So take a lot of pictures.
The key to remember on still frame animation is to not move the kiwi from it's location. Peal it only a little bit at a time and put it back in it's marker. Use a tripod to help it not move too much.
Then take all the photos (sized down) and import them to flash using one photo every few frames.
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
also for cropping, you can use the pen tool to draw your ownline and "mask" it. The results are a lot smoother. The pen tool creates vectore lines that you can go back and edit to smooth out or tweak using the white arrow.

Hope this helps some.
