Hey all just wanted to share this link, it has some creative advertisments from all over. Some of these are just crazy and I wonder why I don't see this kind of stuff in the US.

Yea I love this kind of stuff. This one is one of my favorites. The look on this kid's face looking down is priceless. There's a ton of good ones on there!

That kid at the bottom of the pool one is awful. We have that hear because we have heaps of children drown. It's bad taste IMO considering just about everyone knows of some kid that drowned.

its a bit close to the bone but i don't think it's bad taste... i think it highlights the problem well and has a very stong impact.
I had to draw a lot of technical plans out not so long ago to be used in a court case for a large holiday firm when a toddler drowned in a resort pool because one parent had gone shopping and the other was in the bar. We had to prove that all safety measures/recommendations were followed on behalf of the company, there was a clear line of sight to the whole pool and it, unfortunatley, was the inattentiveness of the parent which led to the child drowning. They estimated she was under the water for a good 9 minutes before anyone noticed. :(

Well, I wouldn't be relaxing in a pool with a picture of a drowned child in it. I don't have kids, but I wouldn't want them playing around the dead kid either. I guess that may be the point...

sorry, buda. I missed your point. i understand now and i agree, i would probably feel a little uncomfortable with it in real life.

Yeah, great find cmont, thanks, I'm having fun looking through those.
For the kid under water, they could have used a more humorous approach, perhaps by having the image of a child laying face up making a really crazy face. It would still catch my eye and make me read "Where's Your Child" (making me in turn look for my child) without being so heavy handed.
