Quark and russian???!!!

Hi

Got a bit of a problem! I am a designer who has Quark passport 6 and I have just received some of my quark artwork back that has been translated into russian.... my customer wants me to open them to check they are ok but I can't for the life of me get them open. they have been created in passport 6 as well but the icon is a console icon (like a little black rectangle shape!!)

Anyone have any idea how I get them open. they have sent them via email and also sent the whole file out on disk too and I still cant open them.

Any help would be most appreciated!!

Don't worry about the icon - that just means that somewhere along the email line, the information about the file type got lost. If you open it using File->open in Quark, it'll probably be fine. Well, unless more than just the file type information got screwed up, in which case you have a problem.

Sounds like the client sent you the "shortcut" icon rather than the actual file.

Try getting your client to send the file via an upload site like Yousendit.com
