Bridge collapse

Terrible thing to happen, I hope all our Minneapolis friends are OK! I heard that this bridge's rating from 0-10, zero being the worse, was a 4 and a 5, wtf! And that the city had plans to replace the bridge around 2015-2020 at todays cost of 22 billion dollars---good grief. I also heard a blurb that Minneapolis found the cash to build a new stadium for a billionaire but little funds for a bridge.

I saw that on the news this morning as well, Jimking. Very tragic. Luckily everyone in the school bus made it out.

I too hope everyone on GDF in that area is ok.

i saw it last night and it looked like a scene from a movie. i almost didn't believe it was real.

There is film footage of the collapse. It appears the green steel girders buckled. The bridge to me looked like a erector set.
