All you, Monday hating, Knowing someone with that hideous tattoo, Maybe having to wear a tie, Petulant noobs, Simpsonized, Learning Chinese, Avocado loving, Maybe having mono, Speaking in gibberish, Getting your graphics from Jesus, Uber mad, Graphic designers!!!

Have a great weekend!!! http://home.comcast.net/~rnick9/eatdrink042.gif

http://home.comcast.net/~rnick9/qotweek.gif

My day is probably better than Satchel's, while not as good as Danger's, and I'm probably a little more tired than Satchel and not as tired as Logo, which means that I probably have about a 30% case of "the Mondays." Or maybe it's a first degree case of the Mondays. Or a 3.0 on the mondaygraph. Or something.

Of course, one of the things that sucks more than coming in to work on a Monday is being unemployed on any day, so I don't think I'll complain too much.

Socially skilled people tend to have a good grasp of social protocol. A protocol is a shared convention for communication. Protocols allow two people (or groups) from different backgrounds who may have very little in common to know how to speak with one another without anyone getting offended. For example, socially skilled people understand what other people are expecting to hear when greeted or approached, or how they expect to be thanked when they have given a gift. Because they understand what to do, they are able to produce desired responses that those people want and expect.

All your base are belong to us!

Make your time...

hahahha

Now give me the map

Throw the avocados to me! I'm open I'm open!!

Would'nt want to get brushed back from a hundred mile an hour avocado, that thing could crack your skull open.

Nothin' like being drunk and falling into a vat of garlicky buttery mashed potatoes. I can do without the salt, but it's okay this time. It'll make me thirstier so I'll have another margarita, get drunker, dance on the table again, and fall into another vat of mashed potatoes. It's a not-so-vicious cycle.

You love me?? http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v54/RedKittieKat/smilies/thud.gif

I love the taste of licky sticky stamps and envelopes! Yummy!

Ow, I cut my tongue!

maybe they were looking to hire a lolcat.

i could eat a plate of fried chicken skin..... for breakfast

http://koolsplace.com/images/qotweekclassic.gif

i was thinking of feeding chickens coffee beans so i can have caffinated eggs in the morning.

Max is still working out some travel kinks and has been "busy" the last week...in between naps and meals. That leaves about 2 hours a day for the important stuff...playing with the ghosts and his toilet paper tube and bottle cap from the water bottle!
Life's a real challenge when you're a cat!

I once heard Stefan Sagmeister say that if the job involves lightbulbs, he'll do something like try to represent what a peach might think of a lightbulb. That's a good strategy, I think.

There's only one course of action for you: Tear the sleeves off your shirt, tie a necktie around your head, and declare yourself Office Rambo.
Then start throwing stuff.

Oh yes, and I am very glad it's Friday. The wife and I are going for another ultrasound today, and hopefully we'll find out if we're having a boy or a girl. I'll be happy with either one, but it's kind of a pain not being able to say "he" or "she" when talking about the baby, instead of saying "it" or "the baby." I suppose that's just a failing of the English language.

Thanks for the quotes, Kool! I'm kind of glad I missed the one about chicken skin for breakfast the first time around, though. I probably could have done without it this time...

Happy Friday Folks!

My sister is getting married this weekend ... and my god do i look pimp in this tux - Of course to look this pimp I had to shell out $160. On the plus side I am getting a engraved flask filled with petrón ... They probably should hold off on giving that gift to me until after the ceremony :D

Theres nothing like standing in a wedding ceremony after you've had one too many. What an awful feeling. I've been a bridesmaid way more than I ever would have wanted and have done this every time except my sisters wedding. It sucked. Being a bridesmaid is bad enough. Being a drunk bridesmaid is horrible.

I will probably stay pretty sober for the simple fact that I don't want to break the seal before the ceremony.

At the ultrasound yesterday, they measured all sorts of things (large bone lengths, size of chest/abdomen, size of head, etc. Apparently, everything is just fine. If the baby being active is any indication of health, then this is the healthiest baby alive (the ultrasound tech had trouble getting some measurements because he just wouldn't sit still!).

Oh, and notice that I said "he" in that last sentence. The tech told us that it is very obvious that we are having a boy!

Towards the end of both my pregnancies both babies would breakdance of an evening and it looked like I had an epileptic tummy! LOL Virgo (about eating all the guac)

I committed THE worst guacamole sin this weekend.....I brought some to a bday party this weekend and....and....I can barely say this....I brought storebought. And not just store bought, but BAD store bought. I have never done that before. It was so bad. I wouldn't even call it guacamole, it was more like I brought green inedible mush. It was so depressing too, to look at a bowl full of guacamole that no one could stomach eating. Sigh....

The guac my sister had was store bought, but she only gets this specific brand that's not available in the regular grocery store, she has to make a special trip to this particular market. It comes in a mylar-type pouch instead of a jar. I don't know the brand name, and I forgot the name of the store. I think it starts with an 'H'. She says she only buys this brand because it's the only one that actually tastes like the guacamole she does make from scratch on occasion.

PS: I probably still would have gladly taken care of that bowl of pseudo-guac you brought to the birthday party.

I can send it to you!! :) LOL But really, it was so bad I wouldn't inflict it on you virgo, I'll run out and get you some fresh and send it via the interwaves.
I don't have anything against storebought, except I can't find a brand I like. I have seen the one brand Garden Fresh where its in mylar, and their salsas are pretty yummy, and i almost got that instead.

BK, the name Max Volume Knight is such a great name. You last name is Knight, right?Nope, the last name isn't Knight, I'm afraid. That would be a cool last name to have, though.

But but, your name is The Black Knight. I always thought The was your first name.

We can develop our own special guacamole brand name.
GDF Interwaved Guacamole.

Because my initials are BK, some clever classmates of mine dubbed me "BK Broiler" in my youth. At that time, the BK Broiler was a popular sandwich at Burger King.
