After you have written a PDF through Distiller, is there a way to check the dpi and specs of the file in Acrobat Professional?

Touch up object tool. Set your Acrobat preferences for this tool so that it will open raster in Photoshop and vector in Illustrator or Freehand. Also under "Advanced" use "Preflight"
