Need A Designer

Hey guys, I'm new here, and to be 100% honest I'm here for this thread only. I have worked with many web and graphic designers in the past. Some have been incredibly talented, some have not. Some have charged a lot of money, some have hardly charged at all. However, despite all their differences, they are all the same in one respect: getting stuff done. I have yet to find a designer who gets stuff done when they say they will. One who actually answers the phone or returns e-mails. I forgot to mention that professional designers are supposed to be good communicators, but that there are a lot of people out there who call themselves designers without any real training in an effort to make some money with their hobby.

One way to spot a professional is through use of a contract. This spells out what is required of each party, including expected deadlines so everyone involved knows what to expect from the project.
