I'm not too happy about it. PrintPlanet to me had no personality, dull with a bunch of dull nasty know it all mods. Sad day.............:(

No, they bought out Cory who founded PPF. They also gave him a title and role with PrintPlanet. It maybe a good thing for Cory but PrintPlanet is a dry boring joint with tons of venders trying to sell you something. Too darn formal.

That's exactly it. The place is full of venders trying to sell in a ghost town. I liked PPF because it was centered on prepress not some rep from a paper company telling a pressman what to do.

PPF is officially history and PrintPlanet is not very friendly at all. Several of us prepress people have bailed and Joe has started a new site http://z3.invisionfree.com/B4Print_Forums/index.php?act=idx
If any printer or GD has a technical question pertaining to printing and you are in need to get it answered this site will have an answer and the people are friendly too.
Ack, that's shame. Good luck on the new forum. :)
