What is the deal with my Illustrator CS2

I can't save any work anymore from my computer. It gives me an error everytime I want to save. I can export files but I cannot save. I tried to install my program to my other computer and it stops halfway and freezes my computer. I've been dealing with this for the past 4 hours and I have logos to do for a client..:mad::mad::mad:

I uninstall and reinstall the program on my computer and it still does the same thing..This has been happening to me since about 10-14 days ago

I erased unused programs on my computer to see if it had anything to do with not having enough memory. But nothing. I cannot save anything anymore..

well thats not giving me much. are you on an intel chip? what is the exact error message and what have you tried to fix it? have you trashed your preferences?

have you tried opening and saving any other files or is the error across multiple files or just this one your having issues with?

OK i think i fixed the problem. In the save dialog I had the adobe pdf box checked. For some reason it saves now when I unchecked that box..

Ok now I have another problem.. I tried to save it as a EPS and it gives a dialog that says" Can't save illustration - Can't print Illustration"

corrupted file, can you save other files?
is the copy of your os/adobe legal? just a possible problem.
corrupted fonts?

Yes the copy is legal. I do download fonts from dafont.com

So it might be from that

You know what - I think it has to do with saving PDF - because everytime I uncheck boxes that has to do with saving extra files for PDF it gives me that error "Can't save illustration - Can't print Illustration"
