I need to make a file format into 2400 DPI PDF format. I never had the need to print something greater than 400 DPI, so how does turning it into PDF ready change things? Also, do I need to make the image in 'shop 2400 dpi?

Sounds like there is a communication error here.

2400dpi will be the imagesetter resolution.

For any image in the Advert 300 to 600dpi is more than adequate. Any text prefferably as curves or actual font, not rendered down.

Anything that uses curves in the document will print at the resolution of the imagesetter. In this case 2400dpi.

Thanks for the reply. That's what I initially expected (400-500 dpi range) but, I kept being told different. Thanks for the heads up.
