Page Curl in Photoshop CS2

I've got a client that wants a page curl... I've never done a page curl before, is this a filter effect that I need or is there a step by step process that I can do without a filter?

draw it with your lasso tool (I prefer illustrator myself), apply gradient and a drop shadow. walla, instant page curl
