what does the company do? We can't really critique the effectiveness of a logo if we don't know anything about it. Graphic design is about problem solving and creating custom solutions for businesses - not just about making something that "looks neat".
If you shrink the first one down to the size of a dime I would think that those horizontal lines would fill in or otherwise look screwy. Also, is there a reason the blank space around the red box is so much wider than the other horizontal lines?
I don't really care for the color in either example. Why did you choose these colors? Why aren't you exploring the same color options for both marks?
If I were you, I would stick to straight black and white until you have the concept down. Once that is established you can go back and add color later.

Thanks for your answers.
I can explain the DCC meaning: Digital Contents and Communications.
This company do many things as: events, live shows, online contents, publishing, construction, architech, ... In the future, this company will be a group of many sub-company.
I was asked by the Chair man of BOD to use 3 colors: Red, Green, Orange.
By the way, I exported 2 black-white logos:

those are not black and white, they are grayscale. When working on a logo, it needs to be 100% black and 100% white. If the company wants to fax it or engrave it on an award or anything it will need to be functional as a one-color object.

Personally, I think that the 2nd one is more memorable, but it reminds me of something I have seen before... I just can't put my finger on it.
The "D" in the first mark sort of looks like a lowercase "i", and I'm not sure that the font used for that one conveys stability - those two C's look a little weak to me. Other than that, I think that when you print it off at a small size (one inch wide) that the thin lines won't look right.
Try this: if the company was a person, what sort of person would they be? Friendly? Cold? Quiet? Direct? Generous? Dependable?
How can you represent those qualities visually?
Here's my best advice about logo design (post #2):

The 2nd one just looks like HP logo.

yikes, that is the one that I was thinking of. And let me guess... the first one was 'inspired' by the IBM logo?
Stay far, far away from other people's logos... you don't want to get into trouble over copyright issues, and your customer will want a unique identity for themselves... not a modified version of someone else's!

You noticed me an important thing. Thank your very much.
Reminds me of a gas station.
Not very memorable or unique from my standpoint. Pretty much just letters with no meaning beyond the placement or arrangement.

I thought both marks reminded me of courier logos.

^ yeah, I was gonna say DHL too.
But the OP's logos aren't copies and the company may do something completely different from HP or IBM or DHL.

I thought the second one looked a lot like Valero. Or color wise at least... but now I see it's a mix of Valero and HP lol
