help with illy cs3

Hey guys we just got Illy CS3 at work and im having issues with the pallets. how do i move the pallets on the right side (color, brushes, the collapsible pallets.) i like the way it collapses but i want it to be on the other monitor. it won't let me drag it over though. not sure if im missing something or if i can turn this feature off. i just like my pallets to be on the other monitor so i have more space to work. thanks!

I just moved the pallets where I wanted and then saved my workspace
Window > Workspace > Save Workspace then quit Illustrator. Relaunced
and selected my workspace then quit again. Comes up the way I want it
every time for me now.
