my couple litte car projects

This one was for a national scion contest my bro in FLA was goin for. In order to enter said contest they need a representation of their ideas, this was the result,

The picture given to me:http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u194/Spookythemayor/rickscarone.jpg

The finished project:http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u194/Spookythemayor/rickscar2.jpg

Also an experiment in turning on the headlights:
http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u194/Spookythemayor/rickscar3.jpg failed, imo

Next we have the mini maxima:http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u194/Spookythemayor/minimaxima.jpg

Then me "pimping" a 93 maxima
before:http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u194/Spookythemayor/emailmax.jpg
After:http://i168.photobucket.com/albums/u194/Spookythemayor/maxibodycopy.jpg

Ill give you alot of credit to spot all the changes in the two big projects.

Any ideas on making the next one come out better? or on the ones provided?

hmmmm. well, they aren't great but aren't bad either.

The Scion paint-job looks a bit flat. I know changing the colors can sometimes make it look flat, but there are some tutorials out there that will help refine that. Odd to see the CF Splitter change color too, though my days of modding cars is over and that may be more common. Headlights failed, yes.

Mini Maxima, at least drop the car a bit when you Mini-mise it. and careful because now the background looks squished too, either move the car to a new location of keep the background of the originial as is, if it is as is, it looks weird.

Last, Added CF hood, BMW-? fender louvers, demolded sides, wheels, smoked headlights, new Nissan Logo (but it is off a bit need to find a photo of it on the same angle) and sopied the lower vallance/chin spoiler into the bumper.

You should have (and I say this lightly) tinted the windows, brought out eht color a bit more, shaved the door handles or at least delocked it. Stubbier mirrors, I think you'd need a line between bumper and fender that you took out-otherwise that looks to be a real expensive fix it cracked. Also a thought, one thing that bugs me on some cars is the owners smooth out hte side/door panels but forget that the front/rear bumpers have body lines that now go missin in the middle, taking out teh side strips is one thing but give it some matching contours.

to fix things, read up on more tutorials, make aligning added objects match angle of original car. Last car is lowered, but the wheels do not match the tone of the rest of the photo. an easy one, fix the blur in the tree due to the drop. but perhaps make the photo "pop" more by adjusting the levels before modding or photoshopping.

**And, since I am typing so much here...I HATE the term Photochop. ugghk!! sorry had to say it.
