One a more serious note:
First thing comes to my mind if vertically center the text on your nav buttons. It appears flush bottom on my screen.
Text is also kind of thin for on screen on top of black.
I like it alot though! Good job :D

Text comes off as really hard to read with it's kearning so spaced out. Some of the text also doesn't seem to render well as some of the letter ascenders disappear in places.
The gray background bothers me on 1600x1200 (maybe a little darker?). It also gets pretty confining (happens a lot on larger resolutions) when you outline a box and say everything has to go into here.
Useability works for me, though I don't like waiting on auto scrollers. There's a function you can do which say if you're mouse is on the left side of the scroller, your mous pointer is on the 1st image... if you're mouse is on the right side of the screen, it's on the last image (versus now, you place you're mouse on the right side, and wait for it to scroll at a given speed until you get there, time is money, i want it now sorta thing).
Have you considered extending the scrolling thing across the entire bottom panel? Give the lower left hand side something to do.
Resume looks fine except going from sans-serif to full on serif is a little too jarring imo. A transitional would probably be a better choice.
Overall it looks like the site is going for that expensive perfume look (sophistocated if you will), which works pretty darned good with the photography section. Some of the other sections.. not so much. I think some work on your graphic design presentation could make it look much more sophisticated. Instead of using a picture straight from digits of a flyer, photo a real copy, well lit, and some depth of field as well (neat angles too). Web stuff, maybe take a picture of it on your monitor, try some angles, the pixel look looks kind of neat (if you've got LCD's) in my opinion (ala http://www.johntgordon.com/images/test.jpg). I think some simple stuff like that would really bring out some of your work rather than the standard slideshow slides.
and get some antialiasing on the 'ergo' logo plz :)

Ckret, thanks, but I did bottom align the button text, does that look like a mistake?
John G - I'll check into your suggestions. I really agree with the graphic design, I want to take pics of my work, anyone got suggestions on do-it-yourself-on-the-cheap at-home "studio" lighting?
I'll also check out other scroller options, or additions, I also do not like waiting for scrollers.

tape a white sheet (or colored) up on the wall and have it cascade down and roll into the floor (gets rid of the nasty corner seem). I usually just take desk lamps or something lying around and try and position them as best as I can for lighting (subject goes on the floor... usually).
I'm just an amateur at it but one thing I've read and found is light it from the sides and avoid having the subject completely evenly lit as it makes the subject really flat.

Honestly, yes. To me atleast when I first saw it... But if it's your 'style' and gets carried throughout, keep it. But when I saw the FIRST page, I thought that it was. But then I realized it might either be your style, or abrowers error. :)

It looks great.
I like the blank space it allows the eye to home in and focus.
