I HATE ILLUSTRATOR!!!!!

when holding in ctrl why the hell does the pen tool sometimes want to change into the selection tool and sometimes want to turn into the direct selection tool?!?!?!?!?! will some one please tell me, cause its driving me insane!!!
and why does the 'direct' selection tool act the same as the selection tool unless your holding in ctrl???????

oh yeah, and all of the transforming tools pancakeing SUCK... why the hell would they split the transform functions into different tools unlike in photoshop??? its freaking impossible to skew something .1" to the right!!!!!

i'd love to meet the person who made illustrator so i can punch them in the freaking face!!!!

You know, for as much as I like Illustrator, there are times when I f'kn hate it too. Like when I want to cut a vector line off, so i click the scissors tool, click on the line and i get a message telling me i cant cut on anchor points or some other thing. No f**king crap a$$hole, i wasn't anywhere near an anchor point.

Ah! I've got the answer.

The Pen tool remembers the last selection tool you've used. If the last selection tool you've used was the Direct Selection tool, holding 'ctrl' will bring that tool up. Vice versa for the regular selection tool.

Skewing, rotating, and scaling can be entered numerically for precise transformations.

As far as closing a path and doing weird stuff, I have no idea. Never happened to me before.

How do you reset the tools to the default settings!?! I really hate the fact that it remembers what you did last with the tool. I was playing with the star tool (never used it before) and i turned it into a circle... Can't get the bloody star back now! lol!
