Hola,
I just struck out on my own about a month ago and have a new site at: www.greatergooddesign.com (http://www.greatergooddesign.com).
Have a look and let me know what you think! And if you should need help with anything, let me know!
Peace,
Dale

i have a thing about the lightbox pop-ups... i don't know i feel like on your own portfolio site you shouldn't use any premade or stock anything. i myself have used the lightbox for a client who paid me next to nothing (so i didn't feel guilty about using shortcuts) but on your own site? i don't know maybe that's just me, but i think you should be as original as possible on your own website.
it looks good though! clean and kind of edgy. i just think the white background is too white and flat. everything else on your site is beautifully detailed, i think you can do something more with that big white box.

Ha.
I guess we're all entitled to our own opinions.
Thanks for the feedback.

It's very pleasant to navigate and not crowded or fussy at all. I appreciate sites that give me an overview of a project and a thumbnail before forcing a larger image on me.
One of your clients names made me giggle. "sanofi-pasteur" sounds like a french insult, maybe sanofi-beach" would be even funnier. Please excuse my childish humour.

I'm not crazy about the flourishes being included in/over the individual pieces.
I think it's intrusive.
Overall it's clean.

I really liked the site and your work. The only issue I had was the navigation when an image was clicked on and the flash window comes up. I don't know if this happened to anyone else but, the "next" to click on the next image does not automatically come up. Other than that, good work.

Teni you actually have to put your cursor on the correct side of the image to get the next or previous to show up. I think that's intentional, but not intuitive, even if the bottom line says 1 of 3. I'm not fond of portfolios that make me think too much. Fine line between clever and annoying. ;)
The look is clean though. The flourishes on the thumbnails fit the page decor, I don't see an issue there.
