Congrats! But one question......How are you guys publishing all these books? I see different people all the time doing this. Is it print on demand or is there specific runs, how do you get it into different bookstores and whatnot.

Sorry to steal your thunder, just curious is all.

This one is POD, I'm pretty sure Jeff's is with a traditional publisher. That's the only ones I know about here.

Do you have any specific companies that do POD?
Ill like to research it further

Since this is in the showcase, I'll comment. I like it's simplicity. It's white space, but I don't like Impact as your tag and author. It also doesn't say marketing to me. It says children's blocks and schools, not marketing. I'm sure there is something in your book about marketing your goods or services by related them using images. Marketing is like judging a book by it's cover and this one comes up short. I wouldn't pick it up from the cover. Other than that congratulations.

Marketing is like judging a book by it's cover and this one comes up short.I don't agree. The image directly relates to the title of the book, so it is relevant. Besides, there is no images of marketing...what are you going to go, put a picture of some postcards or a guy cold calling or sending an email blast? Take a look at some of the most successfull business authors out there.

Seth Godin has pictures of dolls, cows, himself in a canoe, which by themselves do not relate to business or marketing

Guy Kawasaki has a picture of a match, which by itself does not relate to business or marketing (unless you're going to burn yours down to collect insurance)

If I dug around I'm sure I could come up with a lot more.

Ok, I can see what you're saying, but it still could use some more design. Slap an image and some text and you have a book cover. More successful people can get away with that as they might have name recognition. I don't think you're at that level yet. Also there is more to their book covers than text and an image on white. You could a little more with something as simple as a shadow to make it appear as the blocks are not just floating in empty space, and you could do the same with the text to create some unity. I think it needs to be developed more.

I gotta agree with Mynock on being developed more.

"a real guide...." is kinda small. I would have brought to two lines and try something other than impact.

I like the blocks approach and the A 2 Z on the blocks.

Just think, if I was still working at Target, I could be stocking this bad boy!

I'll have to 3rd Mynock - the cover looks incredibly under-designed. I like the photo, but there's not much thought going on after that.

I pretty much hate Impact, but then again I used it almost every day for 3 years, so take that into consideration.

If I saw this book on the shelf, I would get the impression that the marketing ideas within are not well thought out - just like the cover.

sorry to be harsh, but I think the cover is a miss.

I agree with emmerse... It feels empty and overly simple. Sometimes that works, but this just doesn't have that attraction or interest appeal.
