I had to go to the American consulate in Montreal today for my passport.

In the city, there is a building ("The Bay") under construction, but they've erected a gigantic scaffolding around it with a printout of what the building is eventually going to look like! I thought that you guys might find this as interesting as I did. Here's a quick photo:

That's cool! When we went to The Forbidden City in Beijing last year, they were doing construction/maintenance on one of the buildings and they did the same thing!

Lemme see if I can dig up the photo we took...

Here it is! They've built a temporary "barn" like structure over the existing building. They even put in blue sky, though the sky in Beijing is never blue...

Now THAT is someone else's nightmare. :eek: We don't even take those on. We hand em off to the guys who do buildings for a living.

That doesn't even look like mesh. Hope the scaffolding is tied down good!
Pretty cool though.
