hmmm, it sounds like a nasty disease.. lol
i'm wondering if anyone has any clue how i can get hold of a black finger ring?
I went to Barcelona a few years ago and found a guy selling body jewellery type stuff on a little market stall... he had some plain black anodised aluminium rings for sale and i bought one for my middle finger, of course now i've lost it and i want to replace it. I can't really afford to go back to Barca just for a ring so I've looked round the internet for body jewellery sites and the like and wandered around some of them around here but no-one has got a clue where i can get one from... have any of you got any ideas?

Not really, but it's an evil joke you can pull with a friend on someone who doesn't know your family.

While we are at this, I've been looking for a ring - something pretty but organic looking. Everything I see is so traditional. Any suggestions?
I prefer white gold. I did find this one place the other day that did rings like they were a little textured and uh...wonky. Like they were made out of a thin piece of driftwood with stones embedded only they were made out of gold. Unfortunately, the pricetag was more than I could afford.

I worked for a jewellers for a while and brushed or sandblasted jewellery gets mighty dirty mighty fast. If it's brushed then a pencil eraser can clean it up fairly decently. Not so much of a big deal with gold, but brushed silver is a bitch.
Is it wedding rings that you're looking for? <insert excited face here>
My friends got some beautiful wooden rings with gold set in them that were made by a local artist. Cheap, but very personal and beautiful. Mine nd my husband's wedding rings were cheap as chips. Nearly got wed with dollar store plastic jewellery (it was a bit of a hurry and very rock and roll).

Along those lines but not so chunky. Those rings are verging on monstrosities!
And Frankster, I'm not saying a word :)

I've always been partial to puzzle rings, I guess because I like celtic knotwork.

Celtic stuff looks cool, but it's so not me. Celtic stuff looks good on other people. If anything I'd go for a chinese style design - whatever that might be...
