Hey everyone! I'm working on this illustration of an old goat yelling at someone. I'm kind of stumped as to something an old goat might actually yell (if they could yell, that is). Any thoughts?

Here's the illustration

Thanks for your help!

Brie- what I'm really looking for is common/stereotypical things that old goats/people would say.

For example: Back in my day, we had to walk 10 miles to school in a raging blizzard!

Yeah balou - I had "Damn kids! get your own tin cans!" I think I like your idea better.

Back in my day we used to appreciate the value of a dollar

Bah! Youth is wasted on the young

and one I remember from Dana Carvey playing an old goat on SNL:

Back in my day we didn't have Video games! We just sat around watching the potatoes bake!

How bout:

"We got a regular Roger Staubach over here"

or maybe:

"You buttonhooked me. I did not know you were going to buttonhook me!"

or the standard

"That old man. He lives his life in an alcoholic haze.

last, but not least:

"They superimposed me.":D

Throw your goats up!

throw your goats up:
To make either the "Anarchy" or "Goats' Head" hand sign by using your thumb to hold down the middle and ring fingers, while extending the index and pinky fingers. Most often seen at cheese-ball metal concerts, i.e. Slayer, Metallica, Pantera, etc. And some punk concerts i.e. Black Flag, AFI,
Sinead O'Connor

Hmm...I dunno 'bout what dictionary you are using but "old goat" has always meant 'lecherous old man' where I come from. I'm not sure you want to be using what one o' them would say.

When I was in school, Pluto was still a planet. (then again, that wouldn't actually make you that old)

My parents used to joke that

They had to walk 10 miles to school - up hill both ways, and they had to keep their feet warm in cow pat!

why back in my day we didn't have your fancy X-box. We had games like chew the bark off a tree and we liked it just fine.

Me, too. The usage of "kids" is what makes it stand out!

You could do some sort of play on the fact that goats are often used just for the purpose of keeping the grass short.

"Hey you kids - get out of that tree and help me with this yard" or something like that. An old goat wouldn't use the word punk!

Nice illustration, btw!!
