Well, I finally have a website www.koolsplace.com (http://www.koolsplace.com) I've owned this domain for years now and never did anything with it other than use it as a place to put images for posting on here and other forums. Then a little while back my good friend Allen, of founder of the GDF and owner of Designer Today fame, gave me one of his new CMS releases to play around with and test. I've been wanting to put all my musical endeavors into a common spot and figured this was a good time and place to do it. So I loaded all my tunes on there, Please check em out if you'd like and leave a comment if you wish. The latest one "Bob the Bear 1" virtually none of you have heard and the one below that "Something New" most of you haven't heard before. I have a somewhat different style of playing but I don't think my music will have anybody diving for the back button. :D

Heh heh, that's kind of my problem. I have this CMS that will allow me to easily add huge amounts of content, I just don't know what the hell to put on there LOL. It has a blog module but whenever I feel strongly enough about something to bother writing a commentary on it I usually just post it in here.
This will never be associated with my professional design side. Instead it will be an extension of my forum life.

Wow, that's kinda funny. I've been puttering around with it for a couple of weeks and never even noticed it had virtually the same color scheme as this place. I guess I picked colors I feel comfortable in.

I didn't have anything to do really with the layout, that's all in the CMS. It looks just like a lot of other sites LOL.

Can't wait for more music content! Great concept too. In the few pieces I have heard of yours I think a great idea to brand the site such as you are doing.
I Understand it's under construction still, but what else are you planning for that grey background. Maybe siloquetted building tops with a light on here and there? (Just thinking out loud).

Kool, I really think you should implement a rotating 3D logo in there, somewhere in the top corner (or you could get a script that has it scroll with the page...that would be cool, and by cool, I mean totally sweet). That will make the page "pop" as the vernacular goes.

I want to see more character development. Smiley faces? What do you think of when you read threads and posts. Do you think of smiley faces typing away or something else. Also I think you can play around with the one piece of your art you have there. You just place it fully in the frame. You can add some emotion to your Kool Karacter. He talks but doesn't have a mouth or isn't open. Garfield has though bubbles. Any ways I want to know what the Kitty is thinking instead of just a black stare through glasses. "Push the envelope." Add your only little touch of Kool, unless this is your "touch of Kool."
