Whats that plugin that intuits your line in Illustrator and completes them? Its some sort of spyrograph thing or I dunno.

Craig B

I'm not sure what you're asking. In what way are you wanting Illustrator to complete your line? Do you have an example?

Broacher
10-10-2007, 04:01 PM
I think I'll name it 'Zonker'.

Mynock
10-10-2007, 04:05 PM
I think I'll name it 'Zonker'.It's a good start, but it needs to be more catchy. How about Zonker Elite 300?

WannaBrie
10-10-2007, 04:13 PM
Why not Zonker Elite 3000?! 3000 is a much bigger number than 300 and therefore better.:D

Mynock
10-10-2007, 04:21 PM
3000 is to pretentious. 300 is better. Is there a movie called 3000? I'm not sure, but I am sure there is one called 300. BOX. I have you in a box. :P

Broacher
10-10-2007, 04:22 PM
Outside of every box is the inside of another, bigger box.

CkretAjint
10-10-2007, 04:29 PM
Wouldn't you just use the pen tool to complete your line? If the program did it for you we wouldn't need desingers!

WannaBrie
10-10-2007, 05:27 PM
Outside of every box is the inside of another, bigger box.

Right! and 3000 boxes is better than 300. unless they are all empty. In which case you'd have to throw them all in the dumpster which is an even bigger box...wait, um, what was my point again?

Broacher
10-10-2007, 05:33 PM
I've got the promo video ready for the plugin launch:

Yikes, Broacher, what the heck was that? Creepy!!

Mynock, bigger is always better, therefore a bigger number is better...more = better. There, now, I've boxed myself in thank you very much!

I wonder if the original poster is talking about something like www.scriptographer.com? I remembered a thread (http://www.graphicdesignforum.com/forum/showthread.php?t=18271&highlight=Scriptographer) that CJoe started about it a while back.

That is what Im talking about. Thanks. I just couldn't remember the name, nor explain what it really does.

Also, in terms of lack of information - well, a dozen posts of nonsense at my expense just doesn't do any good, unless it were actually funny, but honestly, it wasn't.

Pretty tight, huh? I was going to say Hawk-eyed, and then I thought, no...no. This guy is special. Theres something about him. The avatar. The name! The tagline. The golden advice. The whole Urstwile package. I have to step it up.

And now that I have, I can see what is so addicting about glutting up the distribution lines with utter nonsense. I'm in there! I feel a joke coming on...its, yeah, it feels like a bowel movement, its good...here it comes now...a page 4, oh yeah.

Sorry about that lack of sense of humor thing, by the way.

lavaspit

You again? I don't recall being made fun of. That would require some real information on someones part, or even intelligence. Or me giving a damn. I recall a string of aimless puns. I though this place would be a bit more "cleanly" than a general post, but in many ways its worse. Why don't you work on "moding" THAT? Hmmm?

lavaspit

PrintDriver

He's an owner's rep. Giving you the benefit of the doubt. I had no idea what on earth you were talking about either. A spirograph plug in or a plugin to show you where your shape was still open (and if ANYONE finds the second one for Illy I will be eternally grateful).

I guess we'd figure we'd wait and talk amongst ourselves until given more info. If you had really cared about the information you asked for in your post, it wouldn't have taken you 15 hours to check back. Unless you posted before going to bed and then went to work and forgot about it til later...again giving you the benefit of the doubt...:D

You know people around here don't take long to respond to questions and when left to their own devices, well... Designers are like Actors, never ask them to improvise...you'll never get what you expected to get. :D

Ya know, I stayed out of this thread because I know the hissy fit he/she had in the medal/logo/name thread. Now I regret that decision. I love watching and participating in train wrecks like these. Especially when it's brought on by one's self. This one was too short though, I would have loved to see this one go on a little longer. Oh well, I know lavaspit has had it coming for a while. Good riddance to stinky garbage.

One thing that always amuses me about these types is the way they finally resort to the forum version of "suicide by cop". Not having any social skills or enough self control to just go find another forum that fits whatever weird ideal they like, they have to keep baiting the mods and finally the admin till they get booted.

Hey spit, DLTDHYOTAOTWO!
